Blog #75 Live Stream an Execution? Yes! Time to Send a Message.

By John Shoemaker, October 11, 2026

Major Hasan deliberately and with malice and forethought executed 13 unarmed US military personnel. He went on a rampage to wound 30 other people. Many of them will be crippled or severely affected for the rest of their lives, plus the pain for their families.

It was an indiscriminate execution in a terrorist attack. Yes, he is a Radical Muslim.

Some are appalled that his execution would be made public, yet the Radical Muslims and other Islamic States have publicized executions for decades, whether they are legally convicted or not, whether they are innocent by any reasonable human standard and value or not, and whether they are purely terrorist acts or not.

In our country, tens of millions watch reruns of the execution of Charlie Kirk, and some revel in it.

In the Hasan case, this isn't just a simple crime in the USA. It is a crime supported by Radicals around the World. There are over 1.3 Billion practicing Muslims in the World with the fastest expansion of new worshipers overtaking all other religions. Of those, it is estimated that 100 million support ISIS, Al Qaeda, and more than a dozen other Islamic Radical groups. Still, millions are in direct conflict, promoting their ideology with chaos, strife, and death.

I am not a warmonger. I hate war. But as I did when I volunteered to fight in Vietnam as an infantryman, I have seen death up front and close of both the enemy and my soldiers. I volunteered to fight communism and protect our way of life. We cannot show mercy to terrorists. History has proven appeasement a fallacy.

We MUST show the World that there are consequences to terrorist acts. It will also show that we are not AFRAID to deliver those consequences. Too many in America are appeasing, compromising, and representing faux virtues, which communicates our WEAKNESS and DISUNITY. We should not rationalize rapists, killers, terrorists, and violent jihadists.

Send Hasan and all like him on a publicized journey to HELL. Show no mercy as they have shown.

In fact, he should be HUNG, instead of by firing squad. Like the Nazis, they considered a firing squad an honorable way to die. That is why Nazis hated death by hanging after the Nuremberg trials.

Hang ‘em high!

Hegseth Announces That Fort Hood Murderer Nidal Hasan's Dec. 3 Execution Will Be 'Public'

The defense secretary made the remark in an interview on Thursday, in what would be an unorthodox break from traditional capital punishment norms.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Thursday that the Dec. 3 firing squad execution of convicted Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan will be public, though he did not say what form that access will take.

"He's going to get a firing squad of soldiers, as it should be," Hegseth said in an interview with Jack Posobiec of Human Events Daily. "And we'll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it's public."

Military.com reached out to the Pentagon for comment on Hegseth's remarks and whether logistics are being taken care ahead of the execution date.

"The secretary is correct. It will be livestreamed. Details will follow," a Pentagon official told Military.com.

No execution in the United States has been carried out in public since 1936.

Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, was convicted and sentenced to death in 2013 for the 2009 attack that killed 13 people and wounded more than 30.

Acting Army Secretary Adam Telle set the execution for 1 p.m. Dec. 3 at Fort Hood, Texas. That will be 62 days after President Donald Trump approved the death sentence, and within the 60-to-150-day window military regulation requires.

As Military.com previously reported, it would be the military's first execution since 1961 and its first by firing squad since 1945.

The date is set but not certain. Hasan remains entitled to seek review in federal civilian court, which could still delay the execution.
