The Endless Lies That Should Infuriate You

It seems that we are barraged with lies every day, for almost everything, by everybody.

I learned while serving in politics in a small town that promoting lies is simply normal. When I confronted those not only speaking lies, but doing so deliberately, knowing they were lies, fabricated lies...their answer? “That’s politics!”

I was reminded that politicians can lie all they want—it’s legal, and we have free speech.

Let’s, for a moment, consider the recent past of egregious lies, lies, and more terrible lies:

* Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. The FBI knew it and did nothing for two years.

* The four-year Russia Hoax re Trump and the spawning of two Impeachments.

* The multitude of Democrat false legal charges, insults, and other accusations about Trump.

* All the COVID lies: requirements for social distancing, wearing masks, and vaccine effectiveness; and then the restrictions on our freedoms: businesses closed, travel restricted, and they closed Churches, beaches, schools, and stores—no large gatherings of any kind. Not following directions could land you in jail or cost you your job. Ten thousand military members were kicked out of the service for refusing to take their shots. Worse, shots were necessary for our youth and even babies.

* At Thanksgiving, we were told to restrict to no more than 5 -10 family members who should honor social distancing in your home. Police were asked to enforce this. We had to stay in our homes.

* During the BLM riots, donations were made to help the black community. Worse, those donations funded major personal purchases by the management, including multiple houses and cars. As for the riots that caused over a billion dollars in damage to multiple cities and the death of two dozen people, the media reported the riots as mostly peaceful while reporting with burning buildings in the background.

* Yet, during COVID, strip joints and bars were open, you could buy Lottery tickets, and Big Box stores could stay open.

* Obamacare: if you like your doctor, you can keep him, or it will be great, and it will lower your costs. By the way, the Democrats passed it, and Pelosi said that they “had to pass the bill to see what is in it.”

* Open Borders are good since migrants are people being oppressed, and we need workers anyway.

* Afghanistan was a success in the panic withdrawal and the massive influx of refugees from the Middle East. The military equipment we left in Afghanistan was old stuff and not worth removing, even as it was valued as high as $100 Billion, and given to the Taliban for free.

* We were told over and over by Biden and Democrats that Americans’ assessment of high “transitory inflation” was misguided and the effects were much lower than they knew – that we should avoid our lying eyes.

* Woke, DEI, Gender Identity, and Race are all strategies of Democrats to bring equity and fairness to our society.

* The Inflation Reduction Act was not about inflation as high as 9%, but was really all about spending TRILLIONS on climate change initiatives that was a foolish waste and unnecessary.

* J6 was an unarmed insurrection, led by Trump and not a political event staffed by two dozen FBI Agents that leveraged a protest to be a nasty event.

* Then we have the Democrats who ignored the health status of Biden suffering dementia and his use of the infamous Auotpen.

Now look at the most recent LIES we are hearing:

* Illegal aliens are innocent victims and not responsible for crime, and when we find a criminal illegal alien, they need to be excused as they are victims.

* Illegal aliens will not take jobs away from Americans, and they don’t get Federal support for healthcare or Medicare.

* Illegal aliens will not be able to vote, and all Afghan refugees were vetted, although not all illegals crossing our borders were.

* Prices of food and electricity are high because of Trump. Yet climate change initiatives closed power plants, waged a war on fossil fuels, and tried to replace them with ineffective wind and solar farms, and forced the use of EVs.

* Trump has not done enough to affect affordability.

* Agencies like USAID need to continue their role of funding worthy causes, and DOGE is crippling social services.

* The Federal Government is not big enough and needs to fund more social programs while sustaining fraud, abuse, and waste.

* Trump is killing innocent people on these Narco boats that are supposed to be drug runners from South America. They say it is illegal and, therefore, Trump should be impeached. One Democrat Representative from Texas is filing the papers for Impeachment.

* Tariffs are bad.

* Democrats imply that Trump issues illegal orders to the military.

* Trump is a King or an Autocrat. Democrats campaigned about the evils of Trump’s Autocracy as he is an existential threat to Democracy.

* The assassination attempt was a fake story, and Trump was not shot.

* Trump is in failing health and near death. He cannot last long, and Vance will take over very soon. He may be in the early stages of dementia.

* FBI crime statistics were wrong for several years, released without input from blue cities that refused to provide the data.

* Labor statistics were continuously reported by the Fed’s BLS during 2024, which were seriously inflated.

* The National Guard is nothing but an invasion by a King into our cities, and is not needed. Yes, they say that crime is under control in places like DC, LA, Portland, Philly, Baltimore, Memphis, Seattle, and Chicago. All these cities are managed by Democrats, and the National Guard cannot solve the crime problems.

* Democratic congressional representatives warn the military not to follow illegal orders from our President. Of course, they say they did nothing wrong, even as they clearly implied that the military should stop following orders. They admit they don’t know of any illegal orders. Yet, when the military had thousands of soldiers who refused an order to take the vaccine shot, they were fired, and not a peep was made by the Democrats and the Media.

**** And the worst lie of all for all humanity: Islam is the religion of Peace!! If you hear Allahu Akbar…RUN!!!

What lies am I missing that bothers you?

The Media and Academia are complicit in the false, distorted, or incomplete reporting of facts for the American people due to their obvious bias and political posture that supports a One-Party Republic, with a Socialist type of governance.

It must be obvious, too, that those who complain or charge outrageous crimes are likely guilty of doing it themselves.

Lies destroy trust.

Without trust, we must be in a perpetual state of alarm.

This is true when you consider our freedom is at stake.

Truth builds trust.

With trust, we can safeguard our country and our freedom.
