Gov. Maura Healey is desperately trying to change the subject from the $3 billion she’s squandered on her beloved foreign freeloader flophouses across the state.
A devastating audit report was just released by state Auditor Diana DiZoglio. It chronicled the “improper and unlawful” no-bid contracts, at least some of which were funneled to companies owned by campaign contributors quite simpatico with some of the governor’s predilections.
Maura’s alibi? She’s going to shut down all the “Healey hotels.” Nothing to see here folks, move along….
And even better, for her TDS-afflicted Democrat supporters, she has announced that her administration is setting up an online dashboard to chronicle the cuts to state spending being imposed by the Trump administration — $350 million so far, the comrades at the State House claim.
But wouldn’t it be more instructive to have a dashboard detailing exactly what the taxpayers of Massachusetts have gotten for their $3 billion or so in full welfare packages for thousands of grifting criminals from the Third World?
We already have the receipts – under duress, Healey coughed up turned over all the “Serious Incident” reports at the flophouses from 2022-2024.
If any political opponents of Maura’s want to start posting these reports, they’d best buy a lot of bandwidth. And I mean a lot.
The 2024 report alone runs 2,239 pages.
The auditor’s report singled out a few particularly egregious abuses, like the transit company in Sen. Julian Cyr’s Cape district that charged $140 for a single taxi ride for an illegal alien that went 223 feet.
Bad, but it was going on everywhere. Consider the Clarion Hotel in Taunton, totally overrun with illegals for more than two years but now allegedly being shut down. Maura Healey spent more than $8 million on free rides for the undocumented Democrats living large on our dime at the Clarion.
One flophouse, eight million bucks, just for the rides. Just one free ride among so many.
Where did the illegals go with their on-the-arm transportation? Let’s go to the 2024 report, page 704.
An illegal demands service from 911 – this is a recurring theme, often with the Americans who work at the flophouses being ordered to make the calls, since the “migrants” can’t be bothered learning English. In this case, as in so many, the Haitian had multiple identities, for reasons that will become obvious.
On page 704, “when the police learned his real identity, he had an active warrant from another town for a failure to appear to a court date.”
Ignoring an active warrant? Who did this thug think he was? One of Michelle Wu’s City Hall Third World payroll patriots?
Conversely, when an American gets lugged, getting to his court date is his own responsibility, is it not? But not if you’re an illegal alien living large in one of Healey’s hotels. Here’s what happened with the Haitian B&E suspect.
“National Guard will make sure they are aware of the court dates and schedule the appropriate transportation.”
Appropriate transportation provided by the National Guard? That would be a limousine – on your dime. For an illegal alien criminal.
They don’t have to get jobs, they have zero expenses and on top of that the Democrats provide them with an unlimited stream of free cash. Altogether their average welfare packages run to $10,000 a month per family, according to Democrat Sen. Mike Rodrigues.
As you might expect, many of them have been stoned continuously ever since flopping into civilization.
Hangovers are tough, but not quite so painful if you live in a Healey hotel.
From page 613: “(Redacted) found drunk in the shelter lobby… they transported her to the hospital… she was stressed due to the fact that one of her children, who didn’t live in the shelter, was stabbed with the knife.”
So she got drunk and they put her in an ambulance and took her to the hospital? But it was okay because her child had been shanked?
Everything’s free in America, so the illegals always call the ambulance.
Page 725: Anchor baby rolls off bed, “mother called 911… bruising on baby’s nose.”
Page 719: Staff is ordered by illegal to “assist her in calling ambulance for her child who she said hadn’t been eating and drinking and was vomiting….”
And if the beleaguered American staffers don’t hop to it, well, you know exactly what they’re going to be accused of.
Page 622: “Staff was just targeting her because she was (redacted). Redacted indeed. The race card – don’t leave Port-au-Prince without it.
Now that an election looms, the Healey hotels are supposedly being shuttered. So they’re trying to move these entitled, ungrateful, substance-addled Third Worlders into what the Democrats call “scatter sites.”
That means, private apartments or houses. If you want an idea how that’s working out, check out a text message left by a landlord on page 619. On a snowy day in January 2024, he noticed that his foreign freeloading tenant from tropical climes had his windows “wide open,” running up the working American’s heating bill.
The American decided to confront the surly, shiftless invader.
“He said who are you? I said I am the landlord. I told him when you pay for the heat you can open up the windows. I walked away. I felt threatened because he started yelling at me and said who the hell are you to talk to me about it.”
Let me guess – it’s racism.
“I felt threatened,” the landlord continued, “because he started yelling at me and said who the hell are you to talk to me like that? I don’t feel safe going in my property and need to have him out as soon as possible. I have owned apartments for 40 years and no one ever threatened me like he did. Unacceptable.”
Unacceptable? Not to Maura Healey and her coat holder Ed Augustus and all their dear Democrat friends from Spinelli Ravioli, the North Truro livery company and all the other Healey-type companies with the no-bid contracts.
Three billion dollars to destabilize the entire state of Massachusetts, and to let thousands of illegal aliens run amok for three years. Thanks, Maura.
Republicans, where is the dashboard to lay out all this all taxpayer-funded dysfunction for the voters?
